DA/SA is the best of both worlds. It's a trigger safe enough to carry with one in the chamber and the safety off, and rapid follow up shots will be fast and accurate.
I am not real thrilled with my 11-87s. I have a 12 and 20 gauge Premier version and they looked very nice at first. But the bluing is complete crap and it didn't take long before they were scratched and rusted in spots. Maybe they are fine if you only shoot a round of sporting clays in cool...
Shotguns don't count because you're supposed to pull them rather than squeeze.
For me the worst is probably my stock AR trigger, followed by the 10/22. The AR has about 3 distinct stages of creep before it lets go. When it finally does, it doesn't break cleanly either. It feels a bit like...
The actual flight time is going to be difficult to calculate because it depends on air resistance (which depends on atmospheric conditions, which of course change based on the altitude), the angle it was shot at, the initial velocity, the ballistic coefficient of the bullet, blah blah blah.
I...
Actually, I wouldn't make a joke out of concealed carrying it. Here in Florida, you are allowed to concealed carry only handguns in most state owned land. I always want to have my AR with me if I'm camping, but you can't legally do it. This technically is a handgun however, so it could play...
Considering that your life is at stake, would you really want to use a lever action rifle over an AR?
If I were ever unfortunate enough to end up in a gunfight, I would hope my opponent had been brainwashed by enough cowboy action shoots and western movies to choose the lever action.
Don't know about the pro, but my buddy had a .243 Optima (Elite?) and it was just another single shot rifle. Handloads brought it to 1 MOA but it was very picky.
Obama has won the presidency. He has 200 electoral votes so far and CA, OR, WA, and HI aren't on his list yet. Those are definitely going to push him over 270. It is over, and we have George Bush to thank for it. :(
My girlfriend has trouble racking slides too. My Bersa 380 is doable for her, and so is the Five Seven. I think that is so easy for her because the slide has "wings" molded into the rear which make it easy to grab.
Oh my God, that guy needs to learn how to squeeze a trigger! No wonder he can't hit anything.
As for the AR, no doubt it could have grouped better, but he did shoot 5 shots relatively quickly.
The point of the rule is to keep people from using very low recoiling cartridges which would normally be unsuitable for serious pistol work. But to assume that recoil and caliber (as in bullet width) are related is completely ignorant. You cannot tell me that a .257 Weatherby has less recoil...

I'm a cheapskate, so I just buy packs of notebook paper for 10 cents when school supplies go on sale. The 8.5"x11" turned sideways is about the right size for a kill zone, which is what matters to me. If I can hit the paper, then I have achieved a combat accurate shot.
I usually put up a...
I was thinking about getting it, but I rent so I usually end up moving every year when the landlord tries to jack up the rent on me. Is this a big problem with the C&R?
