You shouldn't have any issues unless you are using a Mossberg. Some Mossbergs are overbored and the Company doesn't recommend shooting through anything but their slug barrels on some models. Otherwise anyone else I would say there's no issues. My dad's family that's all they hunt with are...

On the slug barrel (detached), that is a Nikon Pro Staff. It will cover you out to 100 yards and perform flawlessly at 50. They also have a lifetime warranty on them. Very good glass and seemingly holds up well through a lot of use.
