    Once you fire the shot gun, be it dry or live, It will release the slide lock, thus allowing you to chamber the next round, or cycle the action without having to manually release the slide.

    I had 3 of the auto ordnance pistols back in the early 90's. I shot truck loads of ammo through those guns and never had any issues of any kind.
