What is the "ONE" gun you won't let go

I was going to say "all of them", but if I were to be forced to give up all but one, it would be my GP100.

Has anybody ordered from thegunsource.com before? Good/Bad?

I went through the same thing when I ordered some mags. Their web site said they were in stock when I ordered. They hit my credit card the day after I placed the order. After getting weeks of run-around, I finally cancelled the order after I made the discovery that they already had taken my...

    CZ, rocks, Great gun

@ Lone Haranguer: I did the same thing. Started with a CZ82, then discovered PCR. I liked it well enough that I started looking for a 75BD...longer sight radius and the heft of a steel frame, with the same operation and ergonomics as the PCR. One for compact carry, the other a great range gun...

    Secret Service and CCW's

Secret Services isn't always real sharp either. I work freelance in the media, and was called to provide a feed for C-Span when President GW Bush spoke in my city a month before 9/11. In the screening process, I was asked my full name and place of birth. I told them I was Harry X. Xxxxx. The...

    The CZ Club

Well Doc, it started with that first mil-surp CZ-82. Liked it so much, I had to find me a 75. The first one that came available was a compact CZ-75B PCR. Liked it so much that I had to find me the same gun in a full-size all-steel version. Found the CZ-75BD at a gun show, and it followed me...

    Carry 9mm - Poll

I'll second Pilot's vote for the CZ75B PCR. A compact with the ergonomics of the 75B, but with a lighter alloy frame.

How to tell the spouse about new purchase

My brother takes the ploy of sitting in the living room and cleaning the newest one. When the wife walks in and asks "Is that a new gun?" he says "I've had it for a while." The statement is true, and doesn't really answer the question. She rolls her eyes and walks away.

    Toy Guns of the 1950's - 1960's

Ricochet rifle, Johnny Reb cannon, Fanner 50, Man From UNCLE set, Parris Trainer rifle, the Parris percussion cap pistol that shoot cork balls. My brother and I had a lot of fun with all those, and had forgotten about most of them until reading this thread.

What is the last gun that you bought?

Stainless Ruger 5.5" Vaquero in .357. It's a right pretty thing.

What's the NEXT gun you're gonna buy?

Most likely either a 1911a of some sort in .45ACP or a .357 lever gun like a Marlin 1894c.

Bumper stickers to alert police - Opinions

I would think that "discrete" would be a watch-word for any person who is carrying. This is anything but.

What is the last gun that you bought?

Stainless Ruger Vaquero 5.5" .357. Bought it from a shop that had sold it new to the original owner. After owning it for a couple of weeks, he decided he couldn't afford it and brought it back. Looks like all he ever did was look at it.

What are your thoughts on "Stay Safe"?

I know the Stay Safe people personally, and I can report unequivocally that they are good guys, and NOT anti-gunners. RT55

Long gun/ hand gun pair for SD and Fun?

I'm no expert, but I have to agree with the shotgun/9mm school. I got my Rem 870 used for $150, then added a short barrel for another hundred. A 9mm something can be easily found for under $400. That leaves $350 for ammo and range time. RT55

    Colorado open carry

I'll be heading to the mountains of Colorado next week, and plan to camp in a National Forest campground area for several days, with hikes into a designated Wilderness area. Anybody know what the rules might be that would govern open carry? Thanks in advance. RT55

interesting read w/ details of Capt. Phillips rescue

I also got this from a retired US Army officer. Best synopsis of the situation I've seen so far, and the least political. RT55

Got myself a CZ-82 from AIM

I have a CZ82 that I bought from AIM almost two years ago. The first one had some problems, and AIM replaced it with one that was even nicer looking than my original. It shoots better than I do, and like so many have said, I love the way fits my hand. I liked it so much that I bought a CZ75PCR...
