What's the deal with Fobus holsters!!!

Nah, IMO it was done by someone with an ax to grind against Fobus. Face it, if someone gets two hands on your weapon, you're most likely gonna lose it whether the holster breaks or not. Tim

    Upper Kits J&T vs M&A

Shot this: With this: This is a Fulton Armory Lower, RRA Lower parts kit and stock, M&A "DCM" upper. Finish between the upper and lower is a perfect match and fits snug - no rattle. This was @ 100 yards with Black Hills 68gr. HP match ammo, from the bench. So far I haven't done...

    Good Lord, why?!?!?!?!?!

I've got about 200 rounds thru my D-32 and it is in as good of shape as when I bought it (used). Goes bang everytime I pull the trigger. Guess I'll stick with my "broken" gun. No, it isn't my carry piece, I just play with it at the range.

I'd take one, but it would only be for the (symbolic) deterrence factor - because I sure as heck wouldn't fire it!:what:

Detail-stripped my .45 and need help to reassemble...

Looks like you've gotten the advice you need. The reason I'm LMAO, is that I did the same thing about 10 years ago, and it took me two days to figure it out. I'm just glad to see someone else pull the same stunt!

    century arms M1

There was one for sale (new) at the Grand Rapids gun show by "Total Firearms". The bottom of the trigger housing had a 1/8" by 3/4" long rust-through in it any was so pitted it wasn't even funny. On the positive side though, whatever IDIOT did the park. job, they did it well.

procharger writes: The '06 will likely always be greater, but it really depends on WHAT you're shooting it IN. 20 rounds of '06 in my Sav. bolt gun and I'm done (and VERY sore). 50 rounds out of my Garand, and I haven't felt a thing, even if it is from prone. I've shot as many as 100...

Deep CCW, small guns, limitations and compromise...

1: YES 2: Unless carrying my .45 (just to PO my wife:D  ) my .22 NAA mini is ALWAYS in my pocket. 3: Caliber, No. Accuracy: Not really, as long as I'm comfortable with it. 4: Basically, I feel it is only good for getting the BG off my back long enough to run like heck.

Are the CMP Garands a good deal?

Acorn, If your range has range officers, just have one of them witness you firing 50 rounds of target practice and then have him attest to such on club letterhead and sign it. You should be then good to go.

    Garand Questions

Ignore the above "advice" unless you don't give a hoot about accuracy/safety. Just because something has been done before, doesn't make it right or smart. Just load the clips carefully and properly and LOOK at them to make sure you have no long rounds in the clip. If you do, take out the...
