I've had bad experiences with Remington & Winchester bulk packs. Remington has the "Thunderbolt" bulk pack -- I had great success with those, ironically. For my S&W .22A pistol, Marlin 60, and Remington 597 -- CCI is the most reliable & accurate. -TK

CCI Blazer cycles every time through my 22a. It FTE's on Wal-Mart "cheapy" ammo like Remington and Federal. I swear the pistol is cleaner after more rounds with the CCI too, but that may just be "smoke" ;) Mine is a 4", grey-synthetic (I've not seen another) - my father has a 5.5"...

I'd toss in my favorite plinking/target pistol. S&W .22 A-1 Picked mine up for around $140 a local mom & pop. Cycled a LOT of rounds through mine, rarely an issue. -TK
