It doesnt take much to kill a deer a regular 22lr will do the job if done correctly. The 243 win imho is the best.No recoil,great at almost any distance(providing good shot placement)

well the deer didnt die because there were just a few drops here and there and just a little bit where it laid down.When there is no blood there is no need to continue tracking
