My dad is saving his aswell. I had to laugh, his reasoning is it is to nice of a bullet to shoot for target practice. My answer to that is what good is a bullet you will never shoot?
1.250 was after I had done alot more research. I think I will just tear them down and try the same OAL with a different powder charge.
I'm loving reloading. I have found a 9mm recipe that works well for Unique in my pistols same with .45. I shot 21.2 grns of h110 for my .357 and forgot how...
I just started reloading about 6 months ago. I have my first rounds of .45 sitting on the shelf waiting to be torn down (75 quantity). I have CCI primers 6.0 grns of unique and oal of 1.210. berry's 230 grn round nose.
My question is: is the 1.210 to short and powder to high? I'm thinking...
I'm new to reloading and have a hornady lnl ap press. I was cleaning down all the overly lubed (from factory) components of the powder drop. I saw that in the powder rotor there is a hole machined out for your adjustment. This in my eyes would not allow a large overcharge by design. I could...
I recently bought a px4 in .45 and love it. I also bought a mtac holster and plan on carrying this as my CCW. I'm really liking the px4 and plan to buy a 9mm in it and the new Beretta 90 two.
I just bought one this last weekend. It sure is a nice gun. The only things I dislike so far are lower capacity magazines and the case it came with (don't need a case in nighstand anyway). Had no failures so far with 200 rnds and Is extremely easy to fieldstrip. I'm very happy so far and...
Alot more then that. You figure all the people who haven't posted and changed their minds. Non registered viewers do a search on google for a review for their next purchase and read about instances like this. I was looking at the slim hawg before I became a member here. A little searching...
One of my manuals say to not use reloads in glock or similar guns with chambers that do not fully support the cartridge due to the intrusion of the feed ramp.
I would like to get others advice on this because I would like to own a glock...assuming It will shoot reloads.
Wow, that was ironic. I was just checking out the chronograph in the classified section. I need quality essential loading tools first. This is definitely on my things to have though.
Better hurry! The flyer I received in my new lnl ap was not 230 grn for the 45 acp. They are downsizing grn's in all the bullets I had interest in for 2009. I'll have to find the flyer and let you know the new size.
Thanks Sunray for the link. I just placed my order for the Lyman manual. Also just finished my bench 6'L x 2'W x 38H". Now waiting on santa and Hornady 1k free bullets.
Thanks Closetgunnut for the offer but I have a good start. I think others could benefit from it more. Great...

Looks like alot of recomendations for Lyman. I'll get one of those and ABC's of reloading. You sure make it easy on a new guy to find info and steps for where to start, Thanks.
I have Modern Reloading Second Edition and a hand-me-down Hornady Handbook Of Cartridge Reloading Vol II (with tabs on father in laws loads). I would like to get some more with good info and have yet to get the ABC's of Reloading. I'm just starting out and looking for info. I have spent...
