The sight where the bullet exits is the front sight. The rear sight is the one closest to the shooter. With the rear sight set all the way down should be a 100 yd setting which is the same thing as a scope set to parallax free at 100 yds as most centerfire scopes are set.

I was working on my Yugo M48 stock today. 60 yr old elm is extremely porous. The condition of this old stock really woke me up. This thing is going to soak up gallon of Truoil. I can't believe they cosmo'd elm stocks. There's got to be something better than cosmo for elm.
