Where can I get a custom dagger made?

I don't know if I'll get in trouble for posting a link to another forum, but http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=789 That's a forum I frequent, as I'm beginning to get into smithing myself. Hundreds of people who make knives frequent those forums, good luck!

    A shepherd's crook.

Well I guess some people would call it our religion, but we prefer to call it tradition. Basically my family and family's close friends grew tired of the commercialism in what should be spiritual beliefs and holidays. So we spent awhile figuring out what it was we believed was spiritually...

    A shepherd's crook.

I am looking for a sturdy Crook for traditional purposes (psuedo-druidism) but am unable to find any resources that are not cheesy costume outlets.(Mostly) Does anyone know of/able to find people who make/sell Crooks out of hardwood (or however one makes a sturdy wooden instrument) ? I'm...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

After seriously considering the Benchmade Nimravus 145 (3.5' blade) I have found that it is discontinued. That blade was perfect, albeit shorter that I had originally planned to get. Also after researching Benchmade I have found that they make quality products. Anything similar to the BM...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

If I have to pull it out, then I'm feeling threatened therefore I have the right to pull it out. :] I'm not old enough to carry a gun, couple more years though. I suppose getting a shorter knife wouldn't hurt, and the Benchmade 145 Nimravus looks pretty decent.

I know JTW. It's also unlawful for me to ride my bicycle at night without a headlight. :] I've never had any instance where I was near a police officer, apart from a time where a friend fell off his roof. And I certainly don't do anything to give any officer the right to search my person.

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

Here in Seattle the only real trouble are punk kids who think they're hard because they grew up in "bad neighborhoods". Even though they're wearing $150 shoes. I have grown up in bad neighborhoods, from here to NY and a few places in between, that and I have reasonable training in some Karate...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

So I just came across the Buck 105 Pathfinder. http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=product.detail&productID=3041 Does anyone have any input? I've found some reviews and haven't found one with anything bad to say yet.

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

Conwict - I'm not getting a knife to go run around drawing my knife as fast as possible. I commute on a bicycle, and a large knife will be more of a deterrent than some tiny little 4 inch knife that is all trendy and "extreme" looking. I have no plans to be fighting with a knife if I can...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

I've come across the Fallkniven S1. It looks to be exactly what I'm looking for, does anyone have any experience with this knife? I can't tell how much it is from their website site, and other websites list it under different prices and I would like to make sure I get an authentic blade and...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

Thanks MC, but the crkt knives are exactly what I'm not looking for. I have no interest in those fat gaudy blades that aren't over 3 or 4 inches. I'm looking for longer, slender blades that are sturdy and reliable. Preferably stainless. :]

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

I think $150 is my max limit. And that's only if the knife is to die for. Under $100, and very much under $100 are more than welcome. :] I'm liking the Glock M78, from what I've found out about it so far. But certainly still open to suggestion. Edit: Besides that the M78 isn't stainless. I...

Looking for a decent fixed blade.

I'm planning on getting the Leatherman Charge TTi for general purposes. I've chosen Leatherman because a friend of mine has an older model and uses it as a hammer when he doesn't have one on hand, ha! It's still in pretty decent condition given he's a rancher and has had it almost two years...

    Does anyone know about bamboo?

Does anyone know a good website that has sturdy (hand made, although that isn't necessary) staves/walking sticks? Preferably from firsthand experience. Things that can be reliable as weapons. I commute on bicycle, so I'm often in bad neighborhoods in the open. I'll most likely be getting a...

    Does anyone know about bamboo?

My neighbors have a mini bamboo forest. I've heard bamboo is quite strong. I've been thinking about asking them if I could have a stalk to make a walking stick. Only problem is.. I don't know anything about species of bamboo, or what species is strong or would make a good walking stick. And...

    More stuff

Those are beautiful. I have a list of things I'd like to accomplish before I eventually reach the end of my days and becoming a blacksmith is one of them.
