I am not an expert marksman by any means, but everytime I pick up my P226 at the range I amaze myself. It is nearly 9 years old, but you'd never know it.. It is the one gun I own that I know I will never sell or trade. I'm going to try the Hogue finger grips on it soon...
It's a small light pistol, and hot loads will cause sharp recoil. I find Corbon +P a little uncomfortable. +P Gold Dots seem fine. I would not carry +P+ in my PM9... I love the gun btw...
A few years ago I was carrying a Walther PPK IWB while fishing at a popular beach area. I hooked a large stingray and 6 or 7 people began watching (they thought I hooked a big one). Some how the bottom of my shirt got wrapped around the rod butt and as I was lifting the rod the grip of the...
I picked up these two gems from budsgunshop.com. They had great prices and I saved some cash even after transfer fees and shipping.. After picking them up from my ffl on Sunday I headed right to the range. I put about 200 rounds through each gun.
The Kahr PM9 (9mm) performed flawlessly...
I'll give you $350 for it! :D Somewhere down the road I'm going to own a P220. I've loved the Sigs since my first P226. It looks like it might say "Exeter, NH" on the slide.
Ok I've looked throught the ATF and Florida laws. Here is what I understand is legal.
1. I may ship to an individual through UPS Overnight within the State of Florida.
2. I may ship out of state only to an FFL licensee.
I just want to make sure before I do something stupid.
The gun show was king of a disappointment. There were only 4 or 5 PM9's at the whole show, and they want top dollar for them. There was only 1 black PM9 and it was $620. The most a dealer would give me for the SIG on a trade is $400. I may go back tomorrow with a nice printed add for my Sig...
If I sell a firearm to an individual at a gun show, are there laws I need to follow? What is my liability if that person commits a crime with the firearm, or turns out to be a fellon? What do you do in Florida to have a safe and legal sale?
Thinking about it, it might just be smarter to deal...
haha! I don't want to be talked out of it! The Kel-Tec P3AT is about the same as my P32, although I may try to "trade up" from my P32. I want something a little larger in addition to the kel tec's. The CZ-RAMI is going to be too large... I will look at the XD9 and Glock.. Still leaning toward...
I love my Sig P226 and my P239 is a fine pistol as well... But....The P239 is hard for me to conceal here in Florida with a pair of shorts. It is also long enough that when I do carry it IWB and sit down or bend down it is uncomfortable. I am also not accurate enough with it vs. my P226 at the...
