+1 on the BuckMark! I also have a P22 and it can be a jam-o-matic if you use the wrong ammo. Plus it has one of the worst triggers I have felt on any pistol.

A hammer can be a great defensive weapon. I'm a steel and wood man, so I use a Douglas framing hammer. This is one of the best tool purchases that I have ever made. Once you use one, you will never want to use another brand again.

Amen on the factory tupperware stock! It's a flimsy piece of crap. Save the money for the McMillan. I didn't and I was sorry. I ended up getting aTek2000. I'm extremely pleased with it, but it cost more than the McMillan.

Alumahyde II from Brownells. It's very easy to apply and get good results. It's also very durable. If you do scratch it up, you can touch it up.

I worked up a few loads to try out in my new S&W 500 this weekend. After I finished a few rounds I realized two things: 1. none of my ammo boxes would accept the 500 Mag. 2. My kinetic bullet puller would not accept the 500. What are you guys using for these items? Thanks,

Sorry you are having trouble. The front sight hood should not come off. As others have posted, it needs to fit into the ramp groove. Could it have been put on backwards? The left side side of the ramp has a deeper groove to accept the "bump" in the hood. I just put 100 rounds through my...
