I would recommend the Pearce finger extension. It gives a little more of a ring finger or pinky hold.

It's only been about 10 years or so. About 7 years or so I bought a Saiga 7.62x39 for $209 NIB. THAT was a good deal. I will second or third that the Ruger p95 is one of the best 9mms for the money.

CZ 75 B SA for sure. The Sig feels like a brick, the CZ feels like an exstension of your arm.

My girlfriend prefers a GP100 with a 4 inch barrel, using .38 specials.

What DA pull? It's a Double Action Only pull. All of these are very different.

Do you have or leave any kind of drinks in the car regularly?

I have one and love it. Aside form a Ruger P89, it's the softest shooting 9mm I have ever shot. I think the stock trigger is just fine, but with a trigger job I hear it rivals a 1911 pull.

I am really suprised to rear people say AR15s. They are jamomatics on dry land let alone in a marine environment. I reccomend an 870 Mariner, and a Saiga w/ 30 round mag. Both can be had in your price range.
