It is a sad state of affairs when people cannot be factually described as "black" without snide comments in the thread.
Let us examine this comment carefully. Apparently, this poster believes that the fact a group of thugs were black makes all black people thugs. There is a name for that sort...
Thank you for telling your story, and also for telling how the problem could have been avoided. Stories of problems and solutions like yours have so far saved me from having any AD problems of my own at home.
Off topic but oddly related, when a kindly stranger lets you shoot their black powder...
A sad outcome, and so easily avoidable. I use action proving dummies when showing a new shooter how to use a gun, and for myself when getting familiar with a new gun. New shooters can load and unload to their hearts content, and I can point out that they have their finger in the trigger guard...
I have 2 of the para cwx645b. They have both been back to the factory for different repairs. They both still have problems feeding hardball once in a while. One came back from repair and the action feels full of grit now. I would not recommend them. For the money I was expecting to get working...
Why do it at all? Why have a gun in a state between "loaded and ready" and "unloaded, cleared"?
Seems the worst of all worlds, a loaded gun which is not ready to fire when you need it to. And you have to pull the trigger on a loaded gun and hope you don't have a "problem" with the gymnastics to...
My wife does not have the finger strength to pull the trigger on a MA compliant Sig 220. She had a very hard time with a revolver we tried in the store. She CAN rack the slide on a full size 1911 though, and enjoys shooting hers. I put in an aftermarket trigger which I filed down to make it even...
A Knoxx SpecOps Adjustable Stock will give you both adjustable length of pull AND a lot of recoil reduction. There is a Mossberg 500 available that comes with just a pistol grip and a heat shield.
Sell the pistol grip, put on the Knoxx stock, behold perfection...
karz10,
May be as easy as rolling it up in some metal window screen. Put some padding over the keypad so it is spaced away from the screen. I think the best way would be to roll it up in a square of screen, say 3 full wraps, fold the ends over, tape it up, and then roll it up in another layer...
My experience with an 870 is limited to renting one at a gun range. The action locked up solid TWICE while I was using the thing. I had to take it (loaded) to the counter twice to get them to unjam it. I asked if I was doing anything wrong and the answer was " it just happens sometimes ".
I am...

The case law I linked to completely contradicts you original claim.
It took me 15 seconds to find on google by searching for "duty to retreat mass"
You are now making a very weak excuse to avoid backing up your claim, because you have no idea what you are talking about.
Pathetic.

default,
I get the impression from you post that you are not taking the slide off the frame when you do the cleaning..
If that is the case, some of the crud just moves around in the slide rails and the firing pin hole.. The gun might look clean on the outside, but it is not fully clean...
