I recently paid $50 for 314 at my club. There have been some outrageous prices on GB, don't know if they sold or not. One guy was asking $40 per hundred.

It is a great pistol and round. It has taken some work, but I have finally mastered reloading the 5.7. There is rarely a tread on this board that can avoid the 'buy a Kimber in 45' reply. Go with what you want. The 57 is a good choice.
You are correct, Sigs are outstanding. I own a 226 9mm, 229 40, 229s in 357 and 40 combo, and a 239 9mm. Have sold all my 1911's, kahrs, and s&w's. Sigs devour all my reloads with zero problems.
