No concealed cary in Hilton hotels?

I can't believe you actually walked out and locked your gun in your vehicle. Have you ever heard of Rosa Parks?

Every day carry, what manufacturer are you choosing?

Since you don't have Buck, Case or Queen on the list, I refrained from voting. (S&W - REALLY? You've got to be kidding right?)

Advice - EDC, ~$50, Self defense priority

    I'd recommend a Buck 110. http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=company.chooseKnife

Looking for a bow for targets

If you want to shoot traditional style - get a longbow. BTW, compound bows are for sissies. Get Byron Ferguson's book Become the Arrow.

    Where are Benchmade knives made?

Here's the info you need: Location In 1996, Benchmade moved to Oregon City. Apart from some Red Class products, which are produced in their "off shore facilities",[13] Benchmade produces more than 90% of its knives in Oregon City, and has succeeded in bringing others back to home...

Camping gun. What do you think?

I have a 3" SP101. It's a great gun, since I ironed out all the bugs. However, if I were you, I'd carry the High Cap .45. You never know when you may be attacked in force by a pack of 2 legged critters. Seriously.

    So, carbon versus stainless.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how much I like my Mora high carbon knives. But, I also like my S30V and VG10 Spydies. BTW, when I buy a Mora, I put a nice patina on it right out of the package.

    What metal do you like?

I like S30V stainless and 1095 high carbon steel.

Every day carry, what manufacturer are you choosing?

Spyderco Military, since ESEE and Buck aren't on the list. I carry my old Buck 110 more than anything else I own.

Which guns to do think are 'pretty'?

Winchester 73 or Sears and Roebuck #2

Shotgun no longer a formidable defensive weapon?

When military and police forces around the world stop using shotguns, then I'll think about giving mine up. If I could only keep one gun for home defense, it would be my Winchester Defender.

    Warning about pepper spray

Nope, not me, let em take their chances - bears gotta eat too! :D

What do you think of this little Buck??

I recently bought a old Buck 110 from a friend in another state. I had seen a picture of it, but that was it. When I got the knife, the blade had been sharpened so much that the piont stuck up when the blade was closed. So, I called Buck and the tech told me he'd replace the blade for $10...

    The best survival rifle Cartridge

If the author rulled out the 30-30 and 7.62X39 for various reasons, then the .223 should also be ruled out for it's lack of killing power of large game animals at just about any distance. Which leaves the 308 caliber as the round to choose.

    Marlin 1895XLR in 45/70

Remember that Remington owns Marlin now, so expect lousy quality, service and shortages.

I make walking sticks out of Choke Cherry wood. BTW, Shillelagh is the name of the Irish fighting stick.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Jim Zumbo yet? :)

1903-a3 what are your thoughts on this one?

But, then all you have is a Remington 700 instead of a nice copy of a slice of history.

    Favorite "Classic American" Knife

Don't get me wrong. I really like my case knives. But, in general, they're just too expensive. BTW, where can I get a Mako for under $30?
