DanTana - beautiful rifle. I have the original as handed down by my grandpa. By far my favorite rifle in our collection.

Little iffy on the trigger pull from full hammer down, its not nearly as bad from the safety stop position (where it falls when you hit the decocking lever). Trigger could be better, but like you said, I imagine it gets better in time. I'm just pumped - first handgun.

Interesting. Thanks for all the info. The reason I was leaning towards the P-06 was mainly due to weight (CCW) considerations. I want to shoot this gun regularly though - have to look more into this 'trigger slap' thing.
