I would like to get a suppressed ruger 10/22. This would be a new gun for me and I would like to get some info on what to do.
What trigger group?
What barrel?
What stock?
What scope to use?
Anything else?
Thanks..
I stopped using midway about two years ago. Just was not happy with everything. Been using Wideners, top brass and a couple of others for my loading needs. Could not be happier with them.
Why can I take once fired brass which has not been resized and it fits fine into my dillon case gauge?
There really is no difference between the once fired brass, once fired brass resized and the brass I bought from top brass I have.
All three fit just fine into my case gauge.
I would...
I reload .223 on a 550b.
1. clean brass
2. lube
3. resize on station one with primer section disconnected.
4. Rotate brass two clicks, put new brass in station one and resize. The first one is now sitting on station three, but because there is no bullet added nothing happens with the...
Should I lower my powder weight on the military brass vs the commercial brass when loading for .223?
I am using 24.5g of H335 with a 55g bullet.
If I lowered 10% that would put me at 22.1g. That seems a bit low for the 55g bullet.
NATO brass came from top brass and I did not resize it. It said it was resized and it fit just fine in my .223 guage.
The commercial brass was once fired brass from the range.
Factory loads work fine.
It is getting stuck after chambering and the bolt is failing to lock all the way.
I just shot 10 rounds with NATO brass with 25.1g of H335 and also 10 rounds on commercial brass with 25.1g of H335. I did not crimp either sets and did not have any problems this...
I am having some feed problems with my reloaded .223 ammo. I am also trying to shoot them in a new AR-15.
I am loading 55g bullets with 24g of H335 powder. The problem is the second round is not feeding into the chamber and getting stuck. The round also has markings on it where it is getting...
I have used Unique in my 40 S&W loads for a couple of years now. I know 40 S&W is not in your list but the 40 is close to the 357. Its a good powder and I have had no problems with it. I load it down a bit and my wife is able to shoot the 40 with no problems.
550B
Had my 550b about three weeks now, have called Dillon a bunch of times for help and info, and every time they have been 1st class. Wonderful people, great service and a nice reloading press.
