Agreed but the ranking is weighted. With 40 out of 50 points Ohio isn't a bad place to live. Easing up on the CCW requirements and a bit more reciprocity would help though.
The MSR score is only 7, so even though it's not mentioned in the description it appears the magazine restriction is...
Actually the overall mass is slightly less. You lose about about 1/8 oz. of shot from a 1-1/8 load. The wax itself replaces only a portion of that mass.
I'm not surprised by the lack of penetration. They are basically somewhere between a breaching round and a frangible round. They may not...
Actually the links between SSRI drugs and aggressive or violent behavior have been documented. Most cases were otherwise harmless people having sudden psychotic breaks after starting or just after stopping these meds.
Even in the case of Virginia Tech. Have any of you seen the pictures of Cho...
Anything black and/or with a pistol grip goes on the list.
Also noticed Beretta CX4, Kel-Tec Sub2000, HiPoint Carbine and all variants of the Thompson. None of which are even close to their imaginary "assault weapons".
Didn't the G36 have problems with the heat of sustained rapid fire though?
Very hard to get a pistol that hot. I once fired 500 rds. in my G34 in half an hour. Burned all the lubrication off but didn't even damage the guide rod.
I would start trying solvents. Acetone should work well on a polycoated case, and lacquer thinner should work well if its a lacquered case. Either way it should have to soak for a while before it penetrates enough into the coating.
If that fails I would put the barrel in the oven at 300-400*F...
Browning BLR. Has a box magazine. Not available in .357 mag though.
+2 It's a non-issue will pistol caliber leverguns. Pistol rounds do not typically generate enough recoil to set of a primer in the tube. They also have flat nosed bullets and even FMJ is too rounded to do it.
Another thing to consider is that by allowing the imports of some chamberings they don't have to cover them. So there's less overhead for the US manufacturers. It's not much but otherwise they would have to expand or give up some manufacturing capacity of other calibers that may have a higher...
They're fairly close ballistics-wise with only a slight edge going to the .270 with about 75-100 FPS @ 130 Grains and a slighly better SD. This isn't enough of an advantage to make a noticeable difference inside of 300 yards.
It really should only come down to whether you prefer long or short...
I once watched a guy shooting a DA revolver in SA. Every time he brought the gun up vertical when he cocked it. Apparently didn't keep his finger off the trigger because he shot the ceiling twice and then hit the target runner. Blew the circuit breakers and the whole range went dark.
