I just saw this "interesting customized" Smolt at one of our local gunshops....it's a new S&W 25 (actually a 25-13) .45 Colt "Mountain Gun" with what looks like new "coke bottle" Eagle Grips with a Colt, yes a prancing pony, medallion on the grips. :confused: - just somethings make a guy go hmmm.

I don't own one, but have shot one - NICE! Just like most of the other revolvers chambered for an "auto" cartridge, the cylinder is head-spaced on the case. So you can fire the weapon without the moon clip, just be sure to bring a small dowel rod or pencil with you to extract the spent case...
Take a look at the wood version of the Hogue mono-grips, they are available with or with-out finger grooves.
Ask your gunsmith to replace the grooved "target" trigger with a smooth "combat" trigger and while has the revolver apart ask him to do deburring/polish job on the rebound block &...
Hhhmmmmm........I've never had any issues with S&W's Customer Service, Ruger on the other had:cuss: ................well, I'll just save that for another thread.
