Get the best you can justify. My only recomendation is for a digital lock. I tend to get into mine quite a bit... the conventional combination is slow... Should have paid the extra 100 bucks or so for the upgrade :banghead:

Yes, used to practice once every couple weeks. Now it is relegated to my air rifle in my back yard. That being said I feel my trigger/breathing control is better as the air rifle is unforgiving and will reveal any mistakes such as slapping the trigger.

I have an XD45c and a Glock19 (I know... 9mm vs 45...). That being said, the two guns are almost identical in size. I REALLY like the grip angle of the XD. The natural point of the Glock in my hand is a bit nose high. Reliability has not been an issue. Both guns are pushing about a thousand...

XD45C 500 rounds... no failures what so ever. Gonna get a 9mm SC in the near future.
