Can any semi be smithed to fit a suppressor such as a standard 1911 type or the Ruger MK 111s? I already know there are the standard factory types that are machined for an aftermarket suppressor but I'm interested in picking up a 22lr 1911 or Ruger target barrel.

I'm looking at the red dot and it appears to be a miniature Rorschach test. There are a number of irregular shaped 'flecks' with one larger 'fleck' being brighter than the rest. The shape in total is definetly not a solid 'dot' when viewed indoors under low light conditions and wearing glasses...
