Fun shooting an asprin with a 22 cal @ 22 feet

Didn't do an asprin but I shot a credit card in half with a GSG-5 from around 10 yards on the first shot.. Now THAT was PURE luck! LOL

    AR-15 .22 conv. Or Dedicated .22?

I know this shop a couple counties away that has their own indoor range and give them a call to see if they have the M&P and 522 for a little test drive :) Then I'll really be up Crap Creek cause I'll want both of 'em! LOL

    AR-15 .22 conv. Or Dedicated .22?

Yeah, I jumped on the GSG bandwagon last year but the ex got that and it's not an AR type of platform. THAT was a picky little sucker but it was fun and dead on accurate with just the iron/plastic sights. I'm going to look at that M3 sight! The M&P they had at a shop went for $499 but they said...

    Which One Do You Grab?

I'd have to say the SLR because when you DO eventually run out of ammo, it'll be easier to find 7.62 than 6.8 to restock. Plus, I wouldn't have to worry about keeping it as clean when on the run. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my AR and just couldn't abandon my "Betsy" but YOURS ain't my Betsy LOL

    AR-15 .22 conv. Or Dedicated .22?

Thanks guys! I completly forgot Sig came out with their version as well. Gonna look at that one and the S&W. Eventually, I may decide to go with both the dedicated and conv. I just got a new Brownell's and they have the CMMG kit the cheapest I've ever seen BUT like Arizona said, it's a good...

    AR-15 .22 conv. Or Dedicated .22?

Trying to decided on the best option. Do I get the .22 conversion for my AR or go with a dedicated .22 like the M&P or Colt/Walther .22 AR look-a-likes? Keeping in mind this is just for fun shooting BUT can also be a good training tool. Any suggestions?

FNG on the block Just wanted to say a quick "Hey Guys!" I'm an AR-15 nut but I love to shoot everything else out there too. I have a son that just graduated from M.P. school and is now with the 10th Mountain on the way to Afgan Land. I also have a pet praire dog so keep it down with all the...
