Another one here voting for the Patriot. Have read nothing but positive remarks on this rifle. I would definitely look at this one if I were in the market for a rifle.
I have only been reloading for 5 years now and I thoroughly enjoy it. Like others said it is my time and all I want to do is produce quality rounds that perform superbly in my rifles.
I just worked up some loads with RL19 and IMR 4064. Have been using IMR 4350 but wanted to see how some others work. I have had great success with the Barnes 130gr TTSX over 54.5grs on 4350. My rifle loves that recipe!
I recently purchased the Tactical in 223 but I got lucky. My tactical for some reason had the varmint stock which I liked a whole lot better than the Hogue overmolded. I compared them side by side. It was exactly what I wanted in a new rifle.
I love Burris. 4-12 Short Mag on my 300WSM, FF II 3-9 on my 460, 2-7 Timberline on my 1895 SBL and 4.5-14 on my 270. I have owned previous brands but Burris is the way for me
I have the above scale and it is not working. When I turn it on it displays "02008". When I hit the zero button it switches to "011". Any ideas on how to clear this so I can use it?
I have the Model 7 Whitetail in 300WSM and I love it. Haven't had anything wrong with it and its dead on....the shooter causes the errors in my case. I used it last year for black bear and the weight was not bad at all. Beautiful, accurate rifle.
