    Why is it the media claims that firearms are registered to people even in states there is no such thing. I do know that most firearms purchases can be traced to point of sale and thereby identify the original owner. Is this what they are calling registration? Who is spreading this...

    Thanks for the input, I had a gun smith here check it out and he said it was a routine thing and of no issue.... So I took it to the range and rang the gongs at 300yrds iron sighted. Thanks for the help fellas! It's always appreciated. Mike

    Well it's a mystery to me, but I'm not going full resto just a good looking shooter as close to correct to period as possible. I will only have 400 invested when done and it will look good for sure while certainly not accurate. Should bring 500 to 600 all day.

    So I just picked up this M1903 RIA 410,000 range serial number (known safe range) with a 1-42 Spingfield barrel. Really nice condition but had the stock chopped.... This is my first US military rifle and i have intentions of puting an original stock back on and restoring her to former glory...
