Sounds real good there Bronco45. I have a friend who is getting a P345 in a couple of weeks from my dealer. I'll make a copy of your post and give it to him. He'll get real excited then :D . He has been a 45 Long Colt type for years and decided to get his CCW. After plenty of research he picked...
I need help on my first revolver purchase. I stopped by my dealer yesturday , intent on buying either the 686 or 66 with a 2.5" barrel. He had a 66 2.5" and I liked the feel but he did not have a 686 2.5" to compare . This will be my CCW and not for home defense. I know the 4" will be too large...
Is that a huge thumb safety on the Ultimate or what ? Is it ? Can't get the ugly out of my eyes to refocus  . I guess the P.T. stands for Perty Tugly :D .
Practice, practice, practice. As with any weapon you plan to carry for duty or self defense you need to know your limitations and your weapons limitations. All weapons are dangerous ( LDA included ) if not handled properly. If you plan to carry a cocked and locked you need to practice speed draw...
I have not had any dealings with the service side of Wilson and I do own a KZ 45 that I am real fond of. Now to ansewer your question. If you owned a business that produced high quality, high priced items, would you send out replacement parts to everyone that called in with a problem without...
Milt Sparks Summer Special II by far is the best for 1911's. The best price is from Lightning Arms Sports at [email protected] and they normally have what you need in stock. My Sigs ride in the Versa Max II.
Milt Sparks, Oh Yeah :D
My dealer has a S&W 1911SC with 50 rounds through it. I have been thinking for a while about getting one. They are still relatively new so I'm looking for input from some owners with likes and dislikes about this one. I do have other 1911's, I'm just looking to add to my list if it is a good...
The best thing you can do is try to find a range close to you that rents guns and try the ones you are interested in. You said that this pistol will be used for self defense also. For home protection the Beretta 92 is fine but if you are going to CCW it will be real hard to conceal. So will the...
I bought my 239 in 40 cal. and then I bought the 357 barrel later on. So I have two guns in one and alternate in cal. carry. I do like the 357 Sig better though :) .
Good choice for carry. I first bought the P9 and thought it too large for extended IWB carry. Traded for the PM9 and found it to be a little problematic on feed and extraction from the shorty barrel. Traded for the PM40. Bad mistake. I have always had large and strong hands but the 40 wanted to...
Moparmike; It took me a while to find out just how good the 1911 really is. I have a Colt Series 70 and a Dan Wesson Marksman. Both feel great in the hand and shoot supper accurate. I for a long time have carried Sigs in 357 Sig, .40 and .45 and still do. I depend on the Sig because I have never...
I just checked with KY Imports this week and they still have the 1076 but they come with no magazine. I was told that they will hand pick ( for what that would be worth ) you a 1076 for an extra ten bucks if your FFL requests such. Don't know where to find mags either.
