i use an old Springfield single shot not SS but it keeps well in a birchwood casey copper tect gun bag, about 20 bucks. You can pick up an old rimfire for under $100. stick with basic open sites. trying to chase a coon in the barn with a scope sucks. you hav'nt had fun untill you do that! i...
I love the 788 check out mine Go to youtube and search cleaning rod guide. Its a 22-250 with a Lawrence 26" CUT rifle barrel wrapped up in F class aluminum stock and topped with a Luepold 6.5x20Lr. You have never seen a 788 dressed like mine! OH yeah it weighs 17lbs
I like the Lee auto prime Midway will have brass shellholders soon for them. It makes the tool even better and you can feel the actual seating of the primer every bit as well as the Sinclair. I've had a Sinclair since I was 13 and it's still going strong. but the Lee is priced right
USSR Thats why they make them. Any gaget guy wants one. I have had 2 and the last one was sold 5 or 6 years ago. Wilson die will fix most run out questions. if it does'nt you will have to rebarrel!
Neck size only if you can, full legth sizeing can cause you more trouble, and chances are you don't need to size your case that much. I full legth size about every 3rd loading. but I don't shoot hot loads.
esheato said it best. As far as my posts......Truth sometimes hurts......Sinclair International has no products made by a Sinclair. I started working in the shop at 13 now at 47 they are having my tools made by??? who ever is cheepest......maybe sour grapes OR is it thier GREED good luck...
Normal. If cases strech when sizing you can polish the expander ball and that will help. I like using Wilson neck die it has no expander But it is a hand die
Take it from someone who has made many concentricity fixture......don't! I mean DON'T!!! wast your money. They can't do anything to help!!! spend the money on primers and use good dies I like the Wilson. Good Luck eric sinclair
i use a White tail primer pocket uniformer with carbide cutters, you can uniform and clean at the same time. and you can get them for hand or drill driven. check out Lockstock & barrel.com they offer many different models 1-800-228-7925
this is just your cases being "blown out" or "fireformed" to the chamber. new cases are always shorter and skinnier than the chamber, after you shoot them 2 or 3 times they will be back or maybe to long. It's wierd to think about what happens on the inside of a chamber, all that pressure.
Was the runout before or after sizing......Did they come out of the rifle with the runout? All you can realy do is buy good dies. and don't worry about it. or trade it.
The Sinclair tool will open your cases and without sizing you will only have about .002" bullet tention. I think you should look at your expander ball can you polish, or stone the edges? chuck up it up in drill, they are hard you won't hurt it! That expander and...
