I would have to agree with your company as this site is disturbing. The sight actually allows people to post things like its okay to go around armed waiting for trouble to happen but the sight actually condemds people who post facts that actual real police officers tell people to do. I seen a...
Still kicking myself for not paying $500 bucks for a model 64 that a freind had. Had actually only ever seen that one and had no idea what it actually was. Around here your lucky to be able to get a shot over 50 yards at a deer with all the trees and bush.
The worst gun I ever shot was a Mark 4 Enfeild never could figure that gun out from day one. Next was a Stevens 12 gauge that had a molted brown plastic stock and a weird kind of action. I always wondered what how many of them they made and if anybody still used them much.
To remove oil from a stock they used to recomend spray on oven cleaner. It works on those old 303's that had so much oil soaked into the stock around the bolt area. Could also bury the stock in kitty litter and see hom much it soaks out the oil also.
I have skinned ostriches with a air compressor also. Works not to bad especially when you just need the skins and have to dump the bodies. I have a goofy cable gizmo thats made for skinning deer. It has a running loop that goes around the golf ball or rock to pull with. As it get tighter as you...
The prices on those bullets were cheap enough at one time. I would wonder if the 38-55 bullets are even catologed much anymore. Would bring the price up somewhat. The lighter 38 caliber bullets being rifle were maybe for the 38-55 or something close also.
I found a coach gun wasn't the best for duck hunting also. Dosn't help it had cylinder bore and Improved Cylinder bore chokes. I sold it to some cowboy shooter.

I tried to install my own scope mounts and didn't know what hole to drill to tap out later. I must have drilled the hole a bit to small as I snapped off the tap in the hole and had to fix that afterwards. never tried it again. I also bought a set of Lynx rings and found out they are not steel...
I shot a really big mule deer doe and a buck running together once and when I got up to them turned out they were both bucks but the one had a front leg that was injured some years before and was bent upwards somewhat and this caused him to not grow horns. Fish and Game called it a doe since it...
There is a fellow makes adapters for all calibers including a 223 that is basically the same size as the case and use's green blank loads for a Remington nail gun. It comes with a punch and die to form bullets out of lead fish weights or buck shot ot even peices of lead and works reasonably...
I have seen some that you knew with no problem they were railroad spikes. I have a few spikes to try and do the same. I have seen a fellow that makes both the spike knives and horse shoe knives and they both look like what they are made out of.
I have shot all the animals you mentioned with all three calibers and they all work. You have better trajectory with the 308 or 30-06 then the 45-70 and with heavy loads the 45-70 can really belt you. I have also used the Marlin and the Remington and they are good rifles so its really up to you...
