Being in the middle of nowhere, alone, with no protection of any kind isn't exactly my idea of "safe"...
I mean granted it's not like there are highwaymen lurking behind every boulder, but still...
From what I understand, it's not enforced at all, so there's really no point to bring it up. Besides, I think requiring gun ownership is just as bad as banning guns. Let people do what they want!
As much as I appreciate the message of the posters... from a design standpoint, they're pretty bad. I would recommend doing some reading up on composition and design elements, as well as typography. You can't just slap some text onto photos and call it a poster. I can recommend some great books...
I feel bad for the Russian guy, I guarantee you he paid too much for whatever he bought. That particular shop has crazy prices. But back on topic, I didn't vote in any polls :)
On this point, I think it's interesting to note that yes: the 2A does not say you can carry them secretly. But it doesn't say you can't carry them secretly.
Yes, my intention with this thread (which I suppose I should have clarified) wasn't to simply start a bash-fest (though it is inviting when one writes an editorial so out-of-touch with logic), but to seriously pose the question: how does one counter an argument like this?

See what I have to put up with around here?

In SC it's presentation upon the officer identifying himself as an officer, and/or asking for any form of identification.
I'm not quite sure what happens after this (I've never been pulled over while carrying). I suppose the officer could say "please give me your weapon", but I'm not sure if we...
I've often thought about learning to shoot lefty, just because I think it could come in handy (no pun intended) sometime. Like what if you're in a SD situation and your right hand is injured/disabled?
I love the Andy Griffith show. I remember in the episode where the armored car with a gold shipment came through town, and they gave Barney a tommy gun :P
Someone in my family has a carry permit, but he never carries. He "just thought it would be a good thing to have". I, on the other hand, carry as much as possible.
I know the Czech Republic allows concealed carry.

They have to put those CZs to use somehow right?
