Seems a little pricey for a used gun. If you're spending that much anyway-save a little more and buy new.
Or talk him down. Anything under $500-jump on!
I love my Glock 17. Over 10 years of problem free shooting.
Although, I recently handled a HK P30 at the gun store the other day. And now I'm having unpure thoughts about another gun... It feels like they molded the grip from my hand while I was sleeping!
Best bet is to put alot of time in at the range getting used to the trigger. Or better yet, have a good gunsmith work it over after they assign you one.
