Box labeled Federal Hi-Power. Gold and white stripe in top left corner. Is a 69 grain sierra boat-tail hollow point. Online searches have proven frustrating at best.
HA!!!... well I certainly am pretty damn pleased with it... if is the final purchase i was able to make from a gunshop owner buddy of mine before he was killed in a car accident... needless to say, it wont be leaving my possession if i have any say.... it was impossible to turn it down for $600!!!
I am going to go ahead and join the group that supports the marlin.... I have looked over mine and simply cannot find a weakness in the platform... it is the perfect incarnation of the 45-70 to me and should make a wonderful hog gun when the opportunity arises.
Police trade in generally means the following... carried a lot, and shot very little.. plain and simple.. they are great deals... sometimes the outsides are a little rough, but the insides are generally pristine... from my experience anyhow...
i havent had an opportunity to shoot it yet but i picked up a 24c today.. had been eyeballing it for a couple of months... it finally got the best of me. i love the feel of the gun and anxiously await the opportunity to get to the range with it... I have every intention of trading for a kkm 9mm...
i know, not a whole lot of use for it, but it is pretty much the only Glock i have had the opportunity to handle that i have actually liked.. As it turns out, i like this one a lot... should be a fun shooter...
i have a 311 in 16ga and it is one of my absolute favorites... no frills for sure, utilitarian for sure, but still a heck of a good gun... I find that most all of the issues that i have ever had with any shotgun have stemmed from crappy ammo...
I am a nurse and very pro-gun... several of the physicians i work with on a daily basis are also very pro gun... of course there are those on the other side of the fence... but they tend to be pretty closed minded about a lot more than guns.
pmr... there is only so much fun to be had with a 5 shot 410 revolver... there is no limit to the fun to be had with a 30 round 22 mag semi-auto...
just my opinion of course.
