I put two concrete post footings with two of those screw jacks on them supporting two 4x4 which span two parallel joists. One on each end of the safe, if that makes sense.
Probably not necessary, but peace of mind.
I get an average of 1375 fps with 20 grains of AA#9 or 1230 fps with 23 grains of IMR 4227.
Both of these were out of a Super Redhawk with 7.5 inch barrel. The only two loads I have tried with this bullet, so far.
I have never been asked for my ID when buying ammo at Wally World. I do get impatient when you have to wait a half-hour for somebody with the key to show up and unlock the case, though.
What type of media are you using? I think some are dustier than others. I hardly get any dust with corn cob that has run a few cycles with polish added.
Glad you are so easily amused! The only die I've had to internally adjust has been a sizing die for a bottleneck rifle cartridge to change the position of the expander ball. All the rest worked right out of the box.

I have known about these for a long time and thought they were a great idea, but never got around to ordering them. I think I will, today, thanks to your reminder. Using a wrench on the thing is a pain, too.
Edit: Just ordered a couple of the "T" nut types. I think it would make it easier to...

They usually come from the factory pre-set. They come apart mostly for cleaning, extracting stuck cases, swapping seating cone shapes or swapping out broken primer punch pins.
Yours should be good to go. They sometimes have a little instruction sheet in the die case which explains the...
Excellent choice. I started out on the same press many years ago. I found that the manual that came with mine was very helpful in setting up the dies properly. Besides the 3 die set, you will also need a powder die and a caliber conversion kit. The powder dies are generic and will work with any...
