Anyone do business with this website. http://www.petiteguns.com/ I am wanting to buy a small rifle for my wife and she is only 4'9". I found one that she likes, but I have never done any business with this company. Anyone?
I take my one pound jugs to my local dealer. He refills from 8# jugs so he can sell them at a slight discount compaired to 1 pound jugs. It saves a couple of bucks a pounds a pound.

I never leave powder in the hopper. I load only in a climate controlled area (in the house). I plan on calling Hornady Monday. For now I have just turned the hopper over to the other end. The original end had stunk though.
Sorry for being slow
I went into the Hospital and just got out tonight. I am a kidney transplant patient (almost eleven years). I bought a BSA Sweet 22 scope. I put it on my Marlin Model 60 stainless I had in the safe. I made a quick trip to the range last week. After sighting in it shot...
I turned it upside down and stuck it back on. It seemed to fit fairly tight. I noticed the original end had a very slight taper to it (the rubber cap fit alot looser than before). I am still going to call Hornady on Monday. But I think this will hold till then. Hope, hope, hope. I don't...
After reloading for 27 years this has never happened to me before. I am loading on a Hornady AP LnL. The hopper on the powder measure fell off. I looked it over real well and the best I could tell it was just a press fit. I pressed it back on as best as I could. I even put a block of wood...
You will find that kind of service with most all of the gun related companies. Reloading companies seem to be the best. I called RCBS once and told them I broke a depriming pin. They didn't just send me one, they sent me five.:what::neener:
I use W231 in my reduced load 44 Mag. with a 240 gr. LSWC. It is one of my most accurate loads. This is a target I shot from 15 yards with 10.0 grs. of W231 and a 240 gr. LSWC. It is 18 shots.
Do you load on a progressive?
If you load on a progressive you already have them sized. So replace the die in station #1 with a universal depriming die. It will knock out all the media. That is what I do.
I had some WWII 30-06 brass that would not size once It would not chamber nor would it fit in a chamber gage. turned out the shoulder needed to be set back a few thousandths. I used an old shellholder and ground off a few thousandths off the top so the die would seat a little lower...
I have done it may times. I use the same bullet weiht and powder. I just start at the starting load reccomendation and work up slowly. I was told this was okay by a powder tech advisor. Never had a problem. Anyway, manuals are just reccomendations anyway. Always start at the starting load...
This is why I don't deal with sites that are not proven legit site like www.midwayusa.com which is my favorite. If they're not well known, they don't get my business.
You may want to reconsider the self-contained unit. If you accidently shoot it, which is common, you've ruined the whole chrono. I have the CED M2 where the brain stays on the bench with you. I have shot mine, the sensor at least. It only cost $40 to repair.
I went to my first Smallbore Silhouette Match today. It was a blast. I didn't do so good, 12/40 and 9/40, but on the second time I noticed that my scope was loose, but I had a great time. The people were very nice and friendly (men and women). The main problem was that the wind was blowing...
