Training and fighting are different things. Old saying: Train like you fight & fight like you train. I think that if you attend one of these types of schools & bring a different gun than what you would actually have on hand, you would be doing a disservice to yourself.

I much prefer my M17 over AR-15's. After I get KKF to "chop" it for me, I'll love it even more. That being said, the CX4 is one handy little rifle & a hell of alot of fun to shoot. I think you should save up & get both. It's good for the economy!
