Just a little hint to using cold blue. Clean parts real good, oil & grease or finger prints will ruin the blue job. Clean with alcohol or some cleaner that does not leave a film. If you can heat up the barrel or parts to be blued you will get a better finish. But not to hot, just hot to...

Old Christmas wraping paper turned backwards works great for this. Just put a 1" dot in the center of the paper. Then walk the scope in taking 3 shots then adjust, 3 shots adjust.
