    Mixing powders by mistake

Wow such commotion:neener: Anyway, went to the range today to test few rounds with this powder on a RD tested load. Aguila 380acp brass 2.6gr Red Herco 105gr LSWC OAL 0.975" Fired on a CZ-83 No biggie, shot just fine, actually I didn't see any difference between regular RD and this powder...

    Mixing powders by mistake

Sadly, hopper was poured into RD container. I think it would be 80-100gr of herco.

    Mixing powders by mistake

Well, I was reloading 38spl this afternoon and accidentally mixed 2 kind of powders. I was working with herco and forgot to empty auto disk hopper. Later on when I notice, I mistook what kind of powder was and mixed whats left on almost 1 pound of red dot. It was not that much, like 1/10 of...

    Bullet stuck on barrel

Thanks, actually OAL is 0.98" and barrel marks bullet whenever I eject rounds from chamber so it may be OAL. Bullet mold is new too, so I need to test a bit more. Think I'll try less OAL for now, using barrel as a gauge and see if that solves the problem. Thanks guys, I'll let you know...

    Bullet stuck on barrel

Well this is kinda odd folks. I was unloading my gun at the range so pulled back the slide to eject live round from chamber, but! the case came out without bullet (lead bullet). Powder all over the place and 1 bullet stuck on barrel (or chamber?). It was easily removed by a wood stick and was...

    Lee Classic Turret Press

Jim, I'am from Mexico, unfortunately few hunters & gun enthusiast here, mexican's gun laws are a real nightmare for law abiding citizens :( Hunters usually reload their own ammo or have someone who reload for them since most of the time ammo is very scarce and expensive too, you can expect to...

    Lee Classic Turret Press

Finally got my turret press today and quickly mounted it into my bench... Oh my god! It has nothing to do with my LEE breech lock press!!!!! Just awesome , very solid and heavy duty. This is the second press I come across actually. Probably will reload tomorrow morning, can't wait. Thanks...

    Lee Classic Turret Press

Hello THR, need some help to purchase the right stuff to upgrade from a single stage to a turrent press setup. I currently own the lee anniversary kit and I was thinking upgrading to a Lee classic turrent press. My shooting increased since I joined IDPA, shooting like 500 pistol rounds per...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Wow, you guys have such awesome setups! Well here's mine, I reload on my room so I try to be as clean and with much ventilation as possible. I only reload like 100 rounds per week for pistol (to shoot IDPA) and a few slugs for shotgun. It does the work :D

    Ammo without powder

Can SP primers cycle a semi auto pistol by itself? I know primer will push bullet out of case and bullet will get stuck in barrel, but it will cycle new round from magazine into chamber? I always double and even triple check my reloading tray with a flashlight before seating bullet, I use a...

Is it Ok to polish live ammo in a tumbler?

Reading this thread, encourage me to tumble live ammo myself to remove bullet lube. 15min tumbling, no lube!! Works great. :)

    Too much crimp??

@something vague Only 50 rounds, barrel looks dirty, lube and dirt. But no leading at all. My lube is old NRA formula I made weeks ago (same amount of parafin, vaseline & bees wax). Don't know which is the best lube out there, but well it seems to work for 380acp :) @burr00 thanks, nice pics ;)

    Too much crimp??

Well, went to the range today to try these reloads. They shoot very nicely on my CZ83, but what is more important I had a great time shooting and reloading as well. Thanks everyone for helping me get started on this nice hobby :)

    Too much crimp??

@rcmodel I see, maybe case flare still there but didn't notice at all. So this issue is normal due to lube? When I was done reloading yesterday, notice seater plug had excessive lube and dirt, so I cleaned up.
