Hahahahahahahahaha!
+1 to not shooting the bear if its not trying to eat you, some groceries and a screen door are no big deal. Shooting animals inside is likely to do more damage and make more mess.. my evidence being "the bloody mess". I wasn't there and like obama i don't know all the...
I need to hear more on this story... I understand it probably sucks for you guys but as a remington fan this is just too funny. I always wondered what the guys at mossy were thinking when i saw the pic of that thing on their website. (i must admit it got my attention but )
just going buy what i've read in this thread... some of you are seriously twisted.
if you have confidence related or other issues get that **** sorted out.. you guys are making me nervous.
get back to reality every once in a while. guns are no joke.
i understand some of you are being...
Anyone have an executive level connection at Sig?
tell them to make the 232 in 9mm. I'll take 2 and i'm pretty sure the OP would get one too, I've been searching for that gun (or similar) for a long time.
the walther p5c might be worth a look but has all the $$ and mag availability problems of...
all these colts are so good looking.
ever notice how many companies make a living trying to copycat colt firearms?
if i had more money i'd be a colt shooter, and i'd be able to afford what/if any repair bills as well. someone will always be able to maintain these it is just a question of $$...
caliber is 357 mag. bbl is 4". pick a size. you can only have one.
intended uses in order of priority:
1. range use
2. hd
3. woods
...
4. rabid&intelligent lions/tigers/bears/sharks/crocodiles
5. carry (not so important... who still carries a full size revo anyways)
i'm just...
I don't know much about defensive shooting but for recreational purposes the advantage of not having to pick up brass is a big one.
Too many people just leave empty autoloader casings littered around in random places, and that is a selfish/careless/disrespectful habit.
(I'm not talking about...
I have an slightly unrelated question for you knowledgeable smith fans.
How come the cylinder's on N-frame 357's (27&28) do not visually fill out the cylinder cutout? the barrel is pushed in further to maintain the cylinder gap but wouldn't a longer cylinder or shorter cutout be more visually...
:scrutiny:
i didn't think the 2 piece barrel was that big a deal.. supposedly it makes barrel replacement easier and gives great accuracy (just what i read, i don't know much about barrel engineering).
just fyi this is the article i read http://www.gunblast.com/SW619-620.htm
If the 620 came...
I recently encountered a guy who tried to sell me on this exact statement: that the 357 is louder and has more flash than a 44 mag. I found this hard to believe and it seems to defy common sense. Being a long time 357 fan i have very little experience with the 44 mag.
So to you guys who have...
:what:
If you were asking me i'd say 500rds a week is a LOT. Much more than I ever dream of shooting... maybe if i had select fire and a reloading station. Are you at the range daily? do you reload? competitions?
500 a week over 4 years translates to 500*52*4 rounds of 45 acp = mucho dinero...
I haven't heard anything bad about how they function and have heard great things about factory/customer service.
I just can't get over the look of them :barf:
first 2x i've heard that
but if you like it you like it, more power to ya
There was a time when it was effectively used on all North American game as well (from a rifle). I guess animals got bigger and tougher, nowadays some people will even argue 44 mag is marginal.
I suspect its just the capitalist machine. If people think they need the new big bullet then...
