I would also say parts of Colorado fit your criteria. You will be cutting it close on getting that kind of land that close to one of the real cities (Colorado Springs would be better than Denver considering their attempted preemption of state CCW law). I do Real Estate in Colorado Springs and...
I was really looking forward to this law taking effect so I could finally ride the train... now we'll have to see how this plays out as there are currently no guns allowed at all on an Amtrak train.
Gleek, again in Colorado this is specific to your area. In my county in Colorado the CCW list is not published to any outside agencies so an officer from any agency other than the local sheriffs office would have no idea I have a CCW unless I told them. Again this is COUNTY specific in Colorado...
I am wondering where you got this idea. It is my understanding that this is not the case.
I'll cite some statutes too
CRS 18-12-204
Some more clarification would be great so I do not do something stupid. Am i right in thinking that the only time i HAVE to inform an officer i am armed is when...
Well I think some people are missing a pretty important fact about the biological differences between a 16 or 18 yo and a 21 yo. Especially when it comes to the development of the frontal lobes of the brain.
There is a reason that younger (usually men) people seem to have a lack of impulse...
I live in the springs and have been to Rampart Range once or twice ad i also will not go back there. Both times I was there it was half-filled with people gangsta' leaning their two different caliber handguns in rapid fire hitting not a damn thing...
The other half is full of trash... it...
Just read this on Yahoo News http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_pl607
If that bolded part stays true then it makes me feel a bit better but I have a feeling she is in regardless so I am just looking for something to hope on...
Alright this part about the new york trap is freakin me out a little... would this also apply in a place like DC?
I am going to VA later this month and my flight is Denver to Dulles, then rental car to VA. If I pick up my bags at the carousel am I going to Jail or what?
What alternative...
Is this just something you do to make the TSA feel better? The TSA website seems to contradict this. I mainly ask because I just cut a nice little impression for a box of self defense ammo in my Pelican case for my up coming flight to Dulles...
Not to thread jack here but about that upcoming...
And Virginia....
Just applied for my non-resident permit there and was surprised to see that on the list.
edit: Though maybe they do not count as S/E... IDK but they are in the same general area...
Three comments in and I want to :barf:
Honestly I just cannot understand the mentality of the people wanting to give up more of their rights is astounding...
Again:barf:
Ha.... jeeze that is ridiculous...
Glad I found the same stuff for under $20.00/100 at wal-mart. Took a couple weeks of dropping by right as the trucks get there but better than paying triple the price (plus shipping)
edit: I see I am not the only one that hit the jackpot at walmart
I also work in a setting that often requires wearing slacks and not having the option to wear at my belt (though i have been looking into on of the "tuckable" IWB holsters...)
For me personally 380 is too small. So I chose the PM9 ("bigger" brother to the P380 on your list) and I really like...
Another vote for the PM9
Mine has been flawless and when it comes to the PM9 most everything I have read is that the FTF's and other issues have been worked out.
While i do not have nearly as many rounds through my PM9 as Jocko I also load it by racking the slide when at the range and never have a problem UNLESS I ride the slide back to battery.
When carrying the PM9 this is not an issue because there is always a round in the chamber ready to fire...
So I was google'ing the bill to try to see if it had come to resolution yet and came across thins link
Apparently the anti's of our state know somethign we don't or are merely blowing smoke about this one...
I made my call to the Gov and representatives already and looking forward...
