I had the same issue with my Glock 36 and some factory ammo (HSM, I'll never use it again). Cartridge fully chambered, I couldn't cycle the gun. After firing the gun I checked the extractor, it's been fired 300+ times since then, no issues.
That's just classic. It would cost more than a Wilson 1911 if that was the case... by far :)
Just for fun I decided to ask the owner of a gun store what he thought of hi point pistols. His response was "I've never had any returns on them."
Well no kidding.. you don't take returns on...
Glock 36. I quit carrying my Pro Carry II for this gun. It's small, light, reliable and gives me 6+1 of 45ACP. Nothing wrong with a small frame gun chambered for 357 sig either :)
I owned a Browning Abolt 300 win mag. After shooting it about 6 times I sold it. The recoil made it not fun to shoot.. besides the fact in North America there's not anything you cannot drop with a 30-06.
I'd take 30-06 over 300 all day...
Beretta 92FS I purchased used.. loved to FTF or lock halfway through the magazine. With some wrenching it was a little better...
A Ruger P95 I purchased new was the worst. When it was clean it was good.. but even a little dirty and it got bad. Jammed or stovepiped constantly. I've owned a...
I started my gun purchases all wrong when I finally got into it years ago. I started thinking I wanted a little pocket gun and picked up a DAO 32ACP. Trigger was horrible, terrible sights, etc. I've carried my Kimber ever since I got it.. and I'll probably never carry anything else. Nothing...
I ordered the stock ( http://www.combatstocks.com/Choate_TACTICAL_Stock_for_Savage_Short_ActionCenterfeed_Only.cfm ) for the 12FV 308... I'll give a report once it's installed (should be early next week). Anybody else had a chance to try this stock?
Alright I'm clear on it now. I remember an old 110 I had with the staggered feed, this new 12FV is certainly a center feed which means it's the 4.410" action screw spacing and the Choate Duramaxx stock won't work with it. Anybody know of a good relatively light stock for this rifle? Something...
I have a Savage 12FV with a blind box magazine which is attached into the stock and does not stay with the action when the stock is removed. Would this be the staggerfeed or center feed? From the pictures I've seen it seems like it's a staggered feed however I've also heard the staggered feed...
I have been leaning towards 223 since I already have tons of ammo... Hate to start the stockpile over. Also considered 17HMR but it seems a little too light and weak..
Debating what rifle to go with for varmit hunting. Fox, Coyote, etc. Use FMJ no matter what caliber. What's your vote.. if it's something other than what's listed please say what caliber and why...
Always with one in the pipe. I carry a Kimber Pro Carry II, condition 1 or a Springfield XD 45ACP compact. No matter how fast you are carrying without one in the chamber creates a risk of the slide not going forward into battery when you manually cycle it. Plus it ties up your support hand...
Looking at those I wouldn't count them as "shoot me first pants."
The rules of concealment:
Don't wear clothing bearing a logo (such as Under Armour, Browning, etc)
Don't be wearing any type of vest over your shirt when it's quite warm out, be in a fishing vest, leather sleevless vest, etc...
