    This lady says it all!

Famous testimony. Didn't know it was captured on video. Eloquent.

    Ishapore 2a 308NATO

The Ishy is designed and proofed for 7.62 NATO, right?

    .30 Caliber/7.62

Dunno. There is a spectrum of cartridges from .17 to .50 (yeah, and a few beyond those.) For some reason there are clump sat .22, .30, and maybe .45. Who knows why the clumps are there?

Found a good deal on .308 ammo

I've shot quite a bit of Wolf .308 through my Ishy with no problems. What would cause the problem? Ishys are rated for 7.62 NATO. Would the steel case cause a problem?

What is the shelf life of ammunition?

That's it. There are lots of people shooting lots of suplus ammo that is decades old. Including me :D

    308 powder

Has anyone said H335 yet? That's what I use. Cheap, and accurate. I tried it head-to-head with Varget, and my H335 loads came out 'slightly' more accurate.

    Powder for .380Auto

What problems were you having with Unique? That's what I use. 4 grains under a 95gr bullet, if my rusty memory serves. Am I missing something important?

    H&R Handi-rifle iron sights

    I agree. :D

K-31 Swiss - should I go for it?

The K-31 is among the best reasons to take up reloading. It uses standard .308 bullets (not cartridges) and you can reload it for the same price as reloading .308. It is indeed a wonderful rifle. I took my first hog with mine.

    17 Ackley Bee?

I have a custom .17/.357mag built on a Martini Cadet, and it is indeed a match made in heaven. The rifle is the size and weight of a Red Ryder BB gun (which is to say, you could carry it all day and it would not get heavy) and shoots sub-MOA. Mine has dis-assembled many a varmit.

    Hearing protection?

Always. Electronic. Unless I forget to bring em. In which case, I can assure you that 9mm brass stuck hard in your ear canals does, indeed, deaden most of the sound.

What is the WIERDEST Gun / Caliber you have ever fired?

Weirdest I have shot is one that I own. Its a custom rifle, built on a 1935-ish Martini Cadet receiver. Looks like a mini version of the Martini-Henry rifle. Because that's what it is. It shoots a wildcat cartridge--.357mag pistol brass necked down to .17. Its a purpose-built...

    Lever action .22

I predict that we will not hear from someone who owns a Henry, and doesn't like it. We will hear bad remarks about Henry from people who don't own a Henry.

    saiga 308 scope?

Me, too. Mine zeroed just fine, and keeps its zero pretty well when removed and replaced. You do have to adjust the side lever keep the appropriate tension. Directions that come with the scope are adequate.

right hand, left eye dominant, anybody else with this issue?

Based on my experience, 'cross dominance' is pretty common. Like 20% of people. My daughter is cross dominant. I read here on THR that the best cure is to learn to shoot with the same hand as the dominant eye. Not the other way around. So far, it has worked fine for her. She's a...

What can one man with a rifle do?

This is true in the public discourse. But don't bring a pen to a gun fight. :D

    Ishapore Enfield 2A

Great choice! Nice pix. I also bought an Ishy from Aim (several years ago) and love it. Here's a tip--in addition to swapping magazines, you can also reload it with .308 stripper clips. Looks like your shoots to point-of-aim. That's great. Mine shot about 6" high at 100 yards...

WASR-10 Battlefield longevity and reliability Same as original AK?

I disagree. My experience is that they really do run under almost any circumstances. I own one, and have friends who own. We tend to agree--they won't break, but they won't win accuracy contests, either. Mine will CONSISTENTLY shoot 1-2MOA....from a stone cold barrel. After it warms...

Will singleshot rifles make you shoot more accurately?

I could not agree more. And I agree that the issue is mental, not equipment. But I also think the equipment influences the mental state. My experience is--I shoot my single shots more carefully. Even when I'm varmit hunting. Am I the only one?

    Hunting with a Cetme (308)

I was gonna say that I never saw a problem with dinged softpoints in my CETME. Then I realized that's the bullet I'm using. You're right, it works well in the CETME.
