Ruger Mini Thirty. On the fence.

I purchased a Mini 30 some time ago. I purchased it because of the "unsafe" act in NY and it falls under the radar. I use it with five rounders. I don't know it's real potential for accuracy except that I can hit a six inch plate at 100 yards all day long and a foot square plate at 200. I...

    RCBS cracked at top??

They way their presses are built, it must have been taken to the Empire State Building and dropped from the observation tower. I would contact them and call it a day. Why try a fix unless RCBS doesn't cover it.

Since body armor is outlawed in some states, I would guess that wood could become illegal. Its a great idea. Wonder how it would differ in weight?

List of my guns for wife

My dad was a week shy of 90 when he passed. He was long past shooting his rifles due to shoulder issues. He was mostly passed shooting pistols. He enjoyed his collection, but wouldn’t let anything be done to handle them for his estate. I did an inventory for him, with serial numbers which I...

    Build a AR?

Building even if more expensive should be done at least once. It gives you experience on how assemble is done. Good experience. I built a target AR on a DPMS lower with no mag well. Turned out great.

A New Cartridge For Me - 45 LC - Any Advice?

Once I loaded my first 45 Colt, I knew 44 mag would have to go. Gave away my 44 mag 1892 Browning, sold the RedHawk, Blackhawk, and now the Ruger Deerslayer is for sale. Sold the bullets, dies, and still have some brass. Nothing wrong with the 44 ("But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most...

Never heard of them, so I looked them up. Interesting. Not sure about adding a well. I think there are bumpers that will add to the mag length.
