they can be found since they are being made with the bullet button. that said I was able to build my most recent ar-15 for less than 700 starting with a stripped lower. to stay in this budget you will need to build your upper not have some one else do it but if your good with your hands it's...
I've heard that the 405 grain loads don't beat you up as much as some of the lighter bullets. So next time you go to the range let us know if this is true.
I really hate this, nothing jams up your reloading rhythm like hitting a small pocket with a large pistol primer. I had a chance to ask some of the guys at ATK and they said some companies are doing this to only need to stock one size primer.
Have you checked the actuall size of the bullets? I know there are some 22 bullets that are actually 223 where was in the 223 cartrage you need 0.224 size projectiles. Does it do this with every case or only some?
I've found a rag soaked in automatic transmission fluid will lube cases just fine, since I've switched over from one shot to automatic tranny fluid I've had no stuck cases. And it's cheap!
I too am not sure about the mill spec hammer but I can tell you that they are a little picky in terms of ammo used, I have had extreamly good luck with the Blazer 22lr that comes in the black red and silver box, I've shot 2 thousand rounds through mine before it started having cycling issues I...
I just bought a EAA witness which is manufactured by Tanfoglio in Italy, it runs like a champ. In the last month I've run almost 800 rounds through it with out cleaning before it jammed on me, it is also more accurate than me, I can hit 8 inch steel plates out to 50 yards consistently with it...
I had this just happen with 2 consecutive rounds of Winchester White Box 45 auto just yesterday. I pulled the trigger on one round it went pop instead of bang and the bulled just lodged in the barrel so I couldn't chamber another round. I cleared the squib and reloaded the pistol out of the same...
I was reading about these too, one of the solutions I came across was using a stiffer recoil spring to keep the slide from slamming back too hard in the recoil process. That said I have a 9mm version and have run many many rounds through it, the only complaint I have is that there is no last...
I hope you don't hold this against all of us, I was born in California but I am trying to get out. I have enjoyed reading this thread and it pisses me off how california dreaming adds to the california steriotype. Good luck and I hope your hog problem doesn't get too too out of hand.
I don't have any experience with this particular bullet but I have turned solids on a lathe. That said they seem to show about the same drop as lead cored bullets of the same size.
It should work, it may not stabilize the boolit but it makes cheep effective blasting ammo also you will have to develop your own loads since not many full power cartridge have pistol boolit loads. you might want to look up the article on the universal 30 caliber load and use the load described...
