It's pretty easy. Check your airlines policy, print out a copy of it (just in case; I've only needed to pull it out once) and follow that policy. You'll be good to go.

Simple. You don't touch the trigger until you are ready to fire. The internal safeties work in sequence, and keep the gun from firing until YOU pull the trigger.
