you can pick up a used Ruger P85 MkII for $200-225. I own two, bought new -- they're solid made and shoot all day. Good ergos too, at least for my hand. though they were recalled and fixed for free (but what ruger isn't?) good gun.

I have 12, 20, 28 and .410. The 20 is my favorite, though if I ever go duck hunting I'll take the 12.
