Will do Hoss! I was actually thinking about having a pistol transferred there today. You are talking about Guns and Leather correct? I'm from Cullman, AL and went to school in Auburn. You just move down there? Oh and I checked Smith's site, looks like they are still comin with all black sights...
3 dot sights on a bodyguard? When did this start happening? Mine just has plain black sights. Is this just an assumption or have you actually seen this with your own eyes?
I'm a big believer in Federal HST so I keep all my carry guns loaded with it. Wish they would make some in 10mm too! In 9mm i use the 124 gr +P. All my guns are plenty sturdy to eat a healthy diet of +P and I don't feel a big difference in recoil. I like Gold dot and Ranger as well but only if...
Glad to hear Swampfox is good stuff. Not meaning to say that it wasn't good quality stuff, I had just never heard much about it other than seeing sample packs on gunbroker. And 10mm is definitely the market im in so thats also good to hear. What i'm wondering the most about is just like...
I know I do!!! I always loved a nice stainless 5906 but that black 6904 is just sharp in some way! Very well proportioned too. I WANT IT!!! I think i might be willin to even go $225 for it haha!
I've checked out Swampfox and they want 8-10 dollars more than double tap!! And they are a relatively new company of questionable quality. Doubletap hasn't advertised any "Bonded Defense" or Gold Dot bullets on their site in a while that I know of. Maybe I just need to give Mike a call and see...
I just haven't seen any hot Gold Dot ammo around in the last year or so. Double tap used to sell it like crazy as well as Georgia ammo and several other "aftermarket" ammo companies. Has the supply just dried up or copyright problems or what? I want some hot SD ammo and would rather have it...
Check out alabamaholster.com. I bought their holster called the offside for my G29 which is the exact same size gun only in 10mm and I love it. Thin anyway because it's made out of thin kydex and then they put the clip on the side of the gun instead of on top of it and that also helps to pull...
This^. The copying is ridiculous. I understand trying to make money but I thought S&W was a little classier than that. At least prove they are high end gun manufacturers and improve the design. The PDX rounds would help with the doughnut hole effect of the rifling as well. As much as I don't...
MAN! I just saw a mention of this in another thread on here and saw a pic on buds gun shop. I'm blown away. Its exactly what i've been lookin for and want some more info on it and more pictures if anybody has any.
I bought my girlfriend the compact 24/7 compact in 9mm. I love it. Shoots straight for compact and great capacity for its size. Great ergo's too! I think it is one of the best safety systems on a gun today. Awesome idea to have a decocker on a striker fire.
Your running the risk of having severe reliability issues with such tight chamber tolerances as well. Target guns don't have to be 100% reliable so they are as tight as possible. An AK ain't the most accurate thing in the world but it's sure as hell reliable cause its loose and shakey.
Well I can't speak for the G32 but I do carry a G29 most days when i'm not working and it conceals pretty well however it is a little thick. From what I can tell, the G32 is built on the G19 frame which is the compact 9mm not the subcompact. This means its going to be a little longer and taller...
Mine was new but it was loaded in topbrass stamped brass. Good ammo feeds and fires in my G29 but personally doesn't feel like 1200 fps. Maybe it is and i'm used to a little hotter but its great practice ammo for cheap.
Valorious i would be happy to show ya a couple of pics with the laser removed if you can tell me how to post them on here like the ones above. Its basically just got empty holes where the laser comes out on the front, on both the sides where the buttons are, and a tiny one on the right where you...
Ok so I have been waiting for the new .380's since I first heard about them and I finally ran up on my soon to be new S&W at academy today. Took it back to the range (we had already been out and decided to go and look at new guns afterwards) and shot a few over a hundred rounds through it...
5906 is my vote too. I know a guy that put 18,000 rounds apiece through 2 last year and hasn't had a single misfire out of either. Thats what sold me on it and mine has had several thousand including several hundred of hollow points and not a hiccup. Check out Mec-Gars 17 round mags for some...
Try alabamaholster.com and look at their offside IWB holster. I carry a Glock 29 which is a good bit thicker than the G27 and it disappears under a t shirt and shorts. Its even tuckable and at $60 for a custom holster is very affordable.
