So I had a C&R FFL but I never used it to acquire anything and let it expire. The problem now is I can't find the license paperwork or any of the copies I made with the details on it. I want to reapply but there's a section that asks about previous FFLs and I don't have any info to go on.
Is my...
That sucks. My brother lived in Denton a few years ago in a bottom floor apartment. Nothing particularly bad about the neighborhood, but his place got burglarized too. Luckily they didn't get any guns, just DVDs and electronics.
I hate thieves. :cuss:
Kind of off topic, but the design is fine. The vast majority of factory ARs run well out of the box and require no tinkering. Note that the rifle under discussion here is not a factory build.
I think the problem is the AR platform is a victim of its own success. They're so popular that there...
Nice setup. I'm going to place an order for a BCM mid-length in the next month or so. I'm looking at going with a 9" rail from LaRue and when funds permit an Aimpoint and some good carbine training courses.
Well, not really -- Sankum said Springfield M1A. I don't think there's any doubt that an all USGI part M14 is going to be a better choice than an M1A.
Also, the rifle in the photo above is an M14. It has a selector shaft lock installed which Springfield M1As don't have a place for.
Click here for an interesting read on static sparks and black powder with very neat photos.
Even with black powder ground to the consistency of very fine dust, it still didn't ignite with arcing current passing through it. They also did one with Unique smokeless -- no ignition.
I e-mailed him about a month ago inquiring about the same optics. He replied a couple weeks later and said they were out of stock but he would add me to a notification list when they got them in stock. I assume he's extremely busy given the delay -- just be patient.
Why?
The Snopes article seems to be correct -- it even points out that the listing of guns on tax returns is false at the very beginning after the "example" text block.
I'm dumbfounded. Why did the jury decide to give mercy (chance for future parole)? I'd really like to know what was going through their minds when they came to that decision.
Whatever the gun shop's owner wants.
I don't quite understand having a poll about this since people are free to run their small businesses as they see fit.
I'm an EMT and I think EMS personnel carrying a firearm on duty is a bad idea. Bad situations come with the territory for those working in a 911 EMS system and the risks are known. Right now it's assumed that when EMS arrives they're there to take care of whoever needs medical help. Add guns and...
Oh! I thought you meant something else in your first post (that firefighters and medics don't care about the people they're helping).
With your second post I totally agree.
