I purchased three Redding Trim Dies and was going to used the .308 Win but no instructions. The other two are 30-30 Win and 30-06 Springfield. Do you adjust the Redding Trim Dies like you would a RCBS Trim Die? Thanks Tom

My Lee Second Edition pg.447 for a 150 grain Jacketed Bullet shows Reloader-19 at 63.5c for velocity of 2895 and 50900 psi. c= compressed load. S.A.A.M.I. for the 30-06 is 60,000 psi.

+2 for the 2009 Hodgdon Reloading Magazine. Great article on M.E.L.'s (moderately effective loads. I have used the data for 130 gr. TSX in .270 win and 150 gr. TSX in 30-06. Grouping was good on both. I'm going to BassPro this weekend and hope to pickup some 130 gr. TSX in 30 cal.

There is a really good article in Hodgon's 2009 Annual Manual titled "The Right Start". The author has worked up loads for the .308 with 10-11 ft-lbs recoil, which is right at a .243 win. He uses Barnes TSX bullets. Good Luck.
