What is the most cherished gun in you collection

I don't imagine I have any cherished guns, but my 2 Seecamps are probably the pistols I'd least like to part with, mostly because they can be so hard to find.

Why not "pass it on" now? What do you think?

This is the first thing you've posted that I agree with.

    Favorite gun cleaning solution

I've used everything from Hoppe's #9, to Eezox and the stuff that came with my cleaning kit, some kind of gun "conditioning" oil. Right now I'm using CLP and I'm happy with it. It does the job of cleaning and leaving a light coat on parts that need it. After an extended romance with various...

    Sight installation

Hey all, I'm getting ready to install a set of Ameriglo sights on my Glock 19 and need clarification on a couple of points. First, given that I can't find a 60 degree 3-corner file anywhere in the greater Seattle area and Brownells wants $50 for their proprietary model, is it an acceptable...

News flash: We Need More Gun Control

Kardashian is little more than an idiot and a liberal one at that. She hammers that point home every time she opens her mouth.

Why not "pass it on" now? What do you think?

You seem to know an awful lot about people you've never met. You don't know that people are just letting their "extra guns" collect dust. You've no idea. Your idea that giving away firearms as a way to "preserve" 2nd Amendment rights may have merit on some level, but you have no empirical...

Why not "pass it on" now? What do you think?

Not if a lot of 50 year old-plus folks are getting into shooting sports, which wouldn't surprise me a bit. I seriously doubt the sport is dying. All indications are that just the opposite is happening.

That's a very cool thing to do. Good on you.

    Dropping slide on empty chamber?

Personally, robustness notwithstanding, I think it's rude to do to another person's firearm, meaning if they are letting you handle it or vice versa. I'm not overly concerned about damaging my Glock by letting my slide slam home, but I'm just in the habit of easing the slides down on all my pistols.

    32 ACP carry quality ammo.

I only have a Seecamp in .32 caliber, but mine love Gold Dots best, despite Seecamp's recommendation of Silver Tips, which are a little hard to find right now. Hard ball ammo is not recommended for this particular pistol.

Will Striker Fired Pistols w/ Short and Light Triggers Cause More Acc Discharges ?

How is this anything but a perfect example of sheer stupidity? The brand of the firearm involved is irrelevant.

    What are your favorites??

    In no particular order: 1. SIG P226 2. SIG P228 3. Glock 19 Gen4 Honorable mention: Beretta PX4 Storm.

    Glock, loaded chamber, HD?

OP, this is your answer right here.

What is the last gun that you bought?

G19, my first Glock since a Gen 2 G23 I had years ago. Pretty damn happy with it too.

Felony Menacing, You Could Learn A Lot From A Dummy

Well said and excellent advice. I'd add that avoidance is the best thing in any social situation which might escalate to the point where your firearm is presented or even used. Check your ego at the door. Carrying concealed means being even more diligent about avoiding trouble.

More people buying ammo instead of another gun?

Not me. I purchased a G19 a couple of weeks ago.
