Identity and Date of Manufacture of S&W Revolvers

Why should I keep my S&W Model 60?

I have an older snub-nose Model 60 in .357 and I'm thinking about selling it so I can have money to buy another semi-auto. It's my only revolver and I don't shoot it very often. Right now it rides in the car as a backup. I'm interested in getting opinions on why I should keep it or sell it.
