Just wondering if anyone can ID this magazine...
Follower and feed lips make it seem like it takes a center fire rifle cartridge (308 Win).
Only markings are...
FEDERAL ARMS, INC.
ST. PAUL, MN.
Thanks for any insight you can provide.
It doesn't look like they make it anymore, but here is the company that originally had that style hand guard:

Para USA is also offering their products:

As I understood it, they were on sale for $30 from Election Day until Inauguration Day. Original price was always $40.

They have switched from the Robar to a Barrett M107CQ with a S&B scope or optic/red dot. They are also switching from the H-68 Stingray to the H-65 Dolphin.

I see Bartholomew Roberts beat me to it, but here is what I had to say with some links.
Wiki is actually correct in regards to the A4 being the first with the Picatinny/1913 rail. Commercial manufactures use the A3 designation to describe the upper with the Picatinny/1913 rail...
Mr. Sherrill,
Didn't think of it that way. I understand what you are saying though.
I do think the slide stop is a little under built, but since I've only had the one break I really don't worry about it.
The standard CZ 75B DA/SA version is a default SA, unless you manually decock the hammer (it has no decocker, except for the above mentioned versions). It is like a 1911, but with an optional DA mode. When you load the weapon the hammer stays back and you can either thumb decock the hammer or...
rbernie,
>Had you bought that FAL, would you not now have a select-fire weapon worth upwards of $30K?
Not unless you had it converted after purchasing. Importing machine guns for civilian sales was illegal then. The FAL in particular had problems with that as some of the rifles that were...
I worked for Target while living in Arizona, and management had no problem with people open carrying in the store. Corporate cared about numbers and keeping the customer happy. I still feel that their motto "Expect More, Pay Less" was directed towards the workers (I mean "team members") more...
The U.S. Coast Guard is transitioning to the Sig P229R in 40 S&W for its service pistol (replacing the Beretta). They are used by boarding teams all the time and are not there for show.
This from a PSD in Iraq (I don't know him. I pulled this from another board. There is a link below):
"I used to think vertical grips were gimmicks, but it's amazing how natural it feels when using them, try a boxers stance and feel how comfortable it is, then rotate your non trigger hand...
If you are considering the Stag upper here are the two places I looked at to purchase mine:

Received my Sun Devil receivers and they are very clean. Very smooth lines. I have not built one up yet, so I can’t really talk to the ease of building or the long-term durability.
I’m not positive, but the new Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P15 (M&P15PC) looks like it sports a Sun...
Correct on the free-floating hand guards and accuracy.
The barrel does float on the monolith uppers.
There is a lot of debate on the monolithic uppers and heat transfer. If you aren’t doing a lot of mag dumps it might be a moot point. Some of it has to do with the difference in...

The 1H, 2H, and 3H all have chrome lined barrels. The 4H, and 5H are not chrome lined (not sure why).
You will be happy with the CMMG upper. I think they do the magnetic particle testing on all of their parts as well.
